Viad Corp Delivers Strong Second Quarter 2016 Results
July 28, 2016 4:15 PM EDTPHOENIX, July 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Viad Corp (NYSE: VVI) today announced second quarter 2016 net income attributable to Viad of $19.5 million, or $0.96 per share, and income before other items of $21.1 million*, or $1.04 per share*. These results were better than prior guidance as revenue for the quarter was $7.7 million higher than the prior year, driven by positive momentum at both business groups. Management had previously guided for a revenue decline of $4 million to $17 million, primarily due to show rotation and exchange rate variances.
