Raytheon Reports Strong Second Quarter 2016 Results
July 28, 2016 6:55 AM EDTWALTHAM, Mass., July 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) today announced net sales for the second quarter 2016 of $6.0 billion, up 3 percent compared to $5.8 billion in the second quarter 2015.
Second quarter 2016 EPS from continuing operations was $2.38 compared to $1.65 in the second quarter 2015. Second quarter 2016 EPS from continuing operations included a tax-free gain of $0.53 related to the ThalesRaytheonSystems (TRS) transaction, discussed further below, which had been previously forecast in the third quarter of 2016.
