July 27, 2016 12:00 AM EDTDALTON, Ga., July 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Dixie Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXYN) today reported financial results for the quarter ended June 25, 2016. The Companys second quarter 2016 net sales were $105,316,000, 4.2% below second quarter of 2015 sales of $109,957,000. Income from continuing operations was $1,615,000, or $0.10 per fully diluted share, for the second quarter of 2016 as compared to income from continuing operations of $516,000, or $0.03 per fully diluted share, in the second quarter of 2015.
