Valley National Bancorp Reports a 16 Percent Increase in Second Quarter Net Income, Solid Loan Growth and Asset Quality
July 27, 2016 8:00 AM EDTWAYNE, N.J., July 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Valley National Bancorp (NYSE: VLY), the holding company for Valley National Bank, today reported net income for the second quarter of 2016 of $39.0 million, or $0.15 per diluted common share as compared to the second quarter of 2015 earnings of $32.0 million, or $0.14 per diluted common share and net income of $36.2 million, or $0.14 per diluted common share, for the first quarter of 2016.Â
