WEC Energy Group posts second-quarter results
July 27, 2016 7:01 AM EDTMILWAUKEE, July 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â WEC Energy Group Inc. (NYSE: WEC) recorded net income based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) of $181.4 million, or 57 cents per share, for the second quarter of 2016 compared with $80.9 million, or 35 cents per share, for the second quarter of 2015. WEC Energy Group was formed on June 29, 2015 when Wisconsin Energy completed the acquisition of Integrys.
WEC Energy Group's earnings per share for the second quarter, excluding acquisition costs, decreased by 1 cent per share, from 58 cents in the second quarter of 2015 to 57 cents in the second quarter of 2016.... More
