ZURICH, July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) today reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2016, of $726 million, or $1.54 per share, compared with $942 million, or $2.86 per share, for the same quarter last year. Operating income was $1,058 million, or $2.25 per share, compared with $788 million, or $2.40 per share, for the same quarter last year. Operating income excluding catastrophe losses was $1,369 million, or $2.91 per share, compared with $894 million, or $2.72 per share last year.
