City Holding Company Announces Second Quarter Results
July 26, 2016 7:30 AM EDTCHARLESTON, W. Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- City Holding Company (Company or City) (NASDAQ: CHCO), a $3.8 billion bank holding company headquartered in Charleston, today announced quarterly net income of $12.5 million and diluted earnings of $0.83 per share.
Highlights of the Companys second quarter performance and results included the following:
Return on assets and return on tangible equity of 1.31% and 14.5%, respectively. Reported net interest income increased $0.9 million from the quarter ended June 30, 2015, while net interest income exclusive of accretion from fair value adjustments increased $1.5 million from the quarter ended June 30, 2015....
