Carlisle Reports Record Earnings Per Share from Continuing Operations of $1.75, a 22% Increase Over the Prior Year, and Record EBIT Margin of 17.9% in the Second Quarter 2016
July 26, 2016 6:00 AM EDTCHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Carlisle Companies Incorporated (NYSE: CSL) reported net sales from continuing operations of $996.9 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016, a 1.2% increase from $984.6 million in the second quarter 2015. Organic net sales (defined as net sales excluding both sales from acquisitions within the last twelve months and the impact of changes in foreign exchange rates versus the U.S. dollar) grew 0.7%.
