Wintrust Financial Corporation Reports Record Second Quarter 2016 Net Income, an Increase of 14% Over Prior Year, and Year-to-Date 2016 Net Income of $99.2 million, an Increase of 20% Over Prior Year
July 19, 2016 4:39 PM EDTROSEMONT, Ill., July 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wintrust Financial Corporation (Wintrust or the Company) (Nasdaq: WTFC) announced net income of $50.0 million or $0.90 per diluted common share for the second quarter of 2016 compared to net income of $49.1 million or $0.90 per diluted common share for the first quarter of 2016 and $43.8 million or $0.85 per diluted common share for the second quarter of 2015. The Company recorded net income of $99.2 million or $1.80 per diluted common share for the first six months of 2016 compared to net income of $82.9 million or $1.61 per diluted common share for the same period of 2015.
