Nucor Reports Results for Second Quarter and First Half of 2016
July 21, 2016 9:00 AM EDTCHARLOTTE, N.C., July 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) announced today consolidated net earnings of $233.8 million, or $0.73 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2016. By comparison, Nucor reported net earnings of $70.8 million, or $0.22 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2016 and net earnings of $124.8 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2015.
In the first half of 2016, Nucor reported consolidated net earnings of $304.5 million, or $0.95 per diluted share, compared with consolidated net earnings of $192.6 million, or $0.60 per diluted share, in the first half of last year.... More
Joy Global to sell Texas steel plate mill to Nucor Corporation
