AVANGRID Reports Second Quarter 2016 Earnings Results and Affirms Consolidated 2016 Earnings Outlook
July 18, 2016 9:15 PM EDTNEW HAVEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR) reports its financial results for the second quarter of 2016, including consolidated net income of $102 million, or $0.33 per share, for the second quarter of 2016, compared to $11 million, or $0.04 per share for the same period in 2015. For the first six months of 2016, consolidated net income was $314 million, or $1.01 per share, compared to $117 million, or $0.46 per share, for the first six months of 2015. AVANGRIDs reported results for the second quarter and first six months of 2015 do not reflect the combination with UIL Holdings Corporation (UIL).

AVANGRID, Inc. Names Calderón, Timm as Directors
July 18, 2016 6:36 PM EDTORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR) has added two new independent members to its board of directors: a former president of Mexico and a financial services industry leader.
On July 14, the board of directors of AVANGRID took action to increase the number of directors from 12 to 14 and elected Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa and Elizabeth Timm as new directors of the company, effective immediately.
