SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Charles Schwab Corporation announced today that its net income for the second quarter of 2016 was $452 million, up 10% from $412 million for the first quarter of 2016, and up 28% from $353 million for the second quarter of 2015. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2016 was $864 million, up 32% from the year-earlier period.
