Carnival Corporation & plc Reports Record Second Quarter Earnings And Additional $1 Billion Share Repurchase Authorization
June 28, 2016 9:15 AM EDTMIAMI, June 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) announced adjusted net income of $370 million, or $0.49 diluted EPS for the second quarter of 2016 compared to adjusted net income for the second quarter of 2015 of $193 million, or $0.25 diluted EPS. For the second quarter of 2016, U.S. GAAP net income, which included unrealized gains on fuel derivatives of $242 million and $7 million of other expenses, was $605 million, or $0.80 diluted EPS.
