OMNOVA Solutions Continues its Trend of Significant Earnings Growth as Second Quarter 2016 Earnings Per Share Expands to $0.16 per Diluted Share, Compared to $0.09 Per Diluted Share Last Year

Second Quarter 2016 Highlights

For the second quarter of 2016, Adjusted Diluted Earnings Per Share increased 64%, to $0.18 per share, compared to $0.11 reported last year. (See Tables A and B.) This increase was the fifth consecutive quarter of improvement. Focused efforts to improve margins continue to gain traction as Segment Operating Profit margins expanded by 390 basis points, to 12.2%, compared to 8.3% in last year's second quarter.
