BMO Financial Group Reports Net Income of $973 Million for the Second Quarter of 2016
May 25, 2016 6:46 AM EDTTORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/25/16 -- For the second quarter ended April 30, 2016, BMO Financial Group (TSX: BMO)(NYSE: BMO) reported net income of $973 million or $1.45 per share on a reported basis and net income of $1,152 million or $1.73 per share on an adjusted basis. Adjusted net income was up 7% and adjusted EPS was up 8%, excluding a $79 million after-tax write-down of an equity investment.
