UBS reiterated a Buy rating on Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT), and raised the price target to $28.50 (from $26.00), following the company's 2Q earnings report. Applied's guided its 3Q quarterly sales and EPS to $2.8B and $0.48 which was much higher than consensus at $2.6B and $0.36.
