May 13, 2016 7:32 AM EDTJ.C. Penney (NYSE: JCP) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.32), $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.38). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.81 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.92 billion.
Comparable sales were (0.4) % for the first quarter.
