Nelnet Reports First Quarter 2016 Results
May 5, 2016 4:19 PM EDTLINCOLN, Neb., May 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nelnet (NYSE: NNI) today reported GAAP net income of $48.0 million, or $1.11 per share, for the first quarter of 2016, compared with GAAP net income of $64.8 million, or $1.40 per share, for the same period a year ago.
Excluding derivative market value and foreign currency adjustments, net income was $61.7 million, or $1.43 per share, for the first quarter of 2016, compared with $63.4 million, or $1.37 per share, for the same period in 2015.
