Leerink Partners Raises Price Target on Regeneron (REGN) Following 1Q Report
May 6, 2016 9:08 AM EDTLeerink Partners reiterated an Outperform rating on Regeneron Pharma (NASDAQ: REGN), and raised the price target to $530.00 (from $523.00), following the company's 1Q earnings report. Total revenue beat consensus by 2% driven by higher collaboration revenue, and revenue grew by 38% compared to Q1 2015 and by 9% QoQ. The companys earnings fell short of consensus based on higher than expected SG&A and taxes. Pro forma EPS was $2.57 below consensus of $2.68.

Regeneron (REGN) Misses Q1 EPS by 1c; Reaffirms
May 5, 2016 6:36 AM EDTRegeneron (NASDAQ: REGN) reported Q1 EPS of $2.57, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.18 billion.

Sanofi sees 'strong strategic' fit with U.S. Medivation
May 4, 2016 10:39 AM EDTPARIS (Reuters) - Sanofi sees a strong strategic fit with Medivation (NASDAQ: MDVN) even though its tie-up proposal was rejected by the U.S. cancer drug maker last week, the company's chief executive said on Wednesday.
The French drugmaker went public with a $9.3 billion proposal to buy Medivation on April 28 but the target said offer undervalued the company and its pipeline of drugs.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. pharmaceutical companies dominated an annual global ranking of top 10 large-cap stocks with the best five-year returns, according to an analysis released on Tuesday by Boston Consulting Group.
