All dollar amounts are expressed in U.S. currency and results are reported in accordance with United States generally accepted accounting principles.

TearLab Announces $17.3 Million Registered Public Offering
May 4, 2016 7:02 AM EDTSAN DIEGO, May 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TearLab Corporation (NASDAQ: TEAR) (TSX: TLB) (TearLab or the Company) announced today the pricing of a public offering of the Companys common stock, resulting in total gross proceeds of approximately $17.3 million. The offering is expected to close on or about May 9, 2016, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The offering was priced at $0.75 per share of common stock (or common stock equivalent), with each share of common stock coupled with a warrant to purchase one-half of one share of common stock.Â
