May 4, 2016 4:31 PM EDTTAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Masonite International Corporation ("Masonite" or "the Company") (NYSE: DOOR) today announced results for the three months ended April 3, 2016.
Executive Summary
Net sales increased $54.8 million, or 13% compared to the first quarter or 2015, to $489.3 million. Excluding foreign exchange, net sales would have increased 16%. Net income attributable to Masonite increased $48.9 million to $17.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA1 increased $20.4 million, or 54%, to $58.2 million.
