Meritor Reports Second-Quarter Fiscal Year 2016 Results
May 4, 2016 8:01 AM EDTTROY, Mich., May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Meritor, Inc. (NYSE: MTOR) today reported financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2016.
Second-Quarter Highlights
Sales were $821 million, down $43 million, or approximately 5 percent, from the same period last year. Net income attributable to Meritor from continuing operations on a GAAP basis was $33 million, or diluted earnings per share of $0.36, compared to $39 million, or diluted earnings per share of $0.38 in the same period last year.
