Parker Drilling Reports 2016 First Quarter Results
May 3, 2016 5:15 PM EDTHOUSTON, May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Parker Drilling Company (NYSE: PKD) today announced results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016, including a reported net loss of $95.8 million, or a $0.78 loss per share, on revenues of $130.5 million.Â
The net loss includes a $73.1 million non-cash valuation allowance taken primarily against U.S. domestic deferred tax assets largely consisting of U.S. federal net operating losses. The valuation allowance accounted for $0.60 of the reported loss per share.
