WESTFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Westfield Financial, Inc. (the Company) (NasdaqGS: WFD), the holding company for Westfield Bank (the Bank), reported net income of $2.0 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, compared to $1.3 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
Selected financial highlights for first quarter 2016 include:
