Provident Financial Services, Inc. Announces First Quarter Earnings and Declares Increased Quarterly Cash Dividend
April 29, 2016 8:00 AM EDTISELIN, N.J., April 29, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Provident Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: PFS) (the Company) reported net income of $21.0 million, or $0.33 per basic and diluted share for the three months ended March 31, 2016, compared to net income of $19.8 million, or $0.32 per basic and diluted share for the three months ended March 31, 2015.
Results of operations for the first quarter of 2016 were favorably impacted by growth in both average loans outstanding and average non-interest bearing deposits, along with growth in wealth management income. These factors helped mitigate the impact of compression in the net... More
