Legg Mason Reports Results For Fourth Fiscal Quarter And Fiscal Year-End 2016

(NYSE: LM) today reported its operating results for the fourth fiscal quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2016. The Company reported a net loss1 of $45.3 million, or $0.43 per diluted share, as compared to a net loss of $138.6 million, or $1.31 per diluted share, in the previous quarter, and net income of $83.0 million, or $0.73 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015. The current quarter's results included acquisition and transition-related costs of $49.1 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, and a compensation charge related to the Royce management...
