ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (NYSE: RGA), a leading global provider of life reinsurance, reported operating income* of $120.8 million, or $1.85 per diluted share, compared with $121.8Â million, or $1.77 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter. Net income totaled $76.5Â million, or $1.17 per diluted share, compared to $125.1 million, or $1.81 per diluted share, the year before.
