April 28, 2016 2:30 PM EDTMCLEAN, Va., April 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Southern National Bancorp of Virginia Inc. (NASDAQ: SONA), the holding company for Sonabank, announced today that net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 was $2.6 million compared to $2.0 million during the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The Board of Directors declared a dividend of $.08 per share payable on May 27, 2016 to shareholders of record on May 16, 2016. This is our eighteenth consecutive quarterly dividend.
