Westamerica Bancorporation Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend
April 28, 2016 11:40 AM EDTSAN RAFAEL, Calif., April 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Westamerica Bancorporation (NASDAQ: WABC) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.39 per share on common stock outstanding to shareholders of record at the close of business May 9, 2016. Â The dividend is payable May 20, 2016.
Chairman, President and CEO David Payne stated, This dividend recognizes Westamericas healthy capital level, stability in asset quality, and relatively high earnings level.
On April 21, 2016, Westamerica reported $14.2 million in net income for the three months ended March 31, 2016, or $0.56 diluted earnings per common share.
