April 27, 2016 5:08 PM EDTLAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Astoria Financial Corporation (NYSE: AF) ("Astoria", or the "Company"), the holding company for Astoria Bank (the "Bank") today reported net income available to common shareholders of $16.4 million, or $0.16 diluted earnings per common share ("diluted EPS"), for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, compared to net income available to common shareholders of $17.1 million, or $0.17 diluted EPS, for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.Â
