AvalonBay Communities, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2016 Operating Results
April 27, 2016 4:19 PM EDTARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (NYSE: AVB) (the Company) reported today that Funds from Operations attributable to common stockholders - diluted (FFO) per share for the three months ended March 31, 2016 increased 10.1% to $2.07 from $1.88 for the prior year period.
Core FFO per share (as defined in this release) for the three months ended March 31, 2016 increased 12.6% to $1.97 from $1.75 for the prior year period.
Net Income Attributable to Common Stockholders for the three months ended March 31, 2016 was $237,931,000. This resulted in an increase in Earnings per Share diluted (EPS) of 10.9% to $1.73 for the three months ended... More
