RALEIGH, N.C., April 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Citizens BancShares Inc. (BancShares) (Nasdaq: FCNCA) announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2016. Net income for the first quarter of 2016 was $52.1 million, or $4.34 per share, compared to $42.7 million, or $3.56 per share, for the fourth quarter of 2015, and $67.2 million, or $5.59 per share, for the corresponding period of 2015, according to Frank B.
