Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. Reports Quarterly Earnings and Declares Quarterly Dividend
April 27, 2016 1:27 PM EDTMILLERSBURG, Pa., April 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (Mid Penn) (NASDAQ: MPB), the parent company of Mid Penn Bank, today reported net income available to common shareholders (earnings) for the three months ended March 31, 2016 of $1,805,000 or $0.43 per common share basic and diluted, as compared to earnings of $876,000 or $0.23 per common share basic and diluted, for the three months ended March 31, 2015. Earnings per common share for the first quarter of 2016 increased 87% over the same period in 2015. The results for the three months ended March 31, 2015 were impacted by $762,000 in non-recurring merger-related expenses...
