T. Rowe Price Group Reports First Quarter 2016 Results

(NASDAQ-GS: TROW) today reported its first quarter of 2016 results, including net revenues of nearly $1.0 billion, net income of $295.2 million, and diluted earnings per common share of $1.15. The first quarter of 2016 results were impacted by greater non-operating income resulting from higher realized gains on investments and implementing new accounting guidance related to the consolidation of certain sponsored investment portfolios.
