April 27, 2016 7:30 AM EDTPiper Jaffray analyst, Peter Appert, believes Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) turn-around efforts are showing improving margin trends and stabilizing revenues but needs to see evidence of revenue growth acceleration to boost his rating from Neutral. The price target was raised to $40 (from $34), based on 17x 2017E EPS of $2.34.

Thomson Reuters (TRI) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c
April 26, 2016 6:32 AM EDTThomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.48, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.79 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.81 billion.
