Schwab Declares 17% Increase in Quarterly Common Stock Dividend and Declares Preferred Stock Dividend
April 21, 2016 6:12 PM EDTSAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of The Charles Schwab Corporation at its meeting today declared a one cent, or 17%, increase in the quarterly cash dividend to $0.07 per common share. The dividend is payable May 27, 2016 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 13, 2016.
Chairman Charles Schwab commented, "This increase reflects the Board's confidence in our ability to continue to deliver consistent earnings and cash flow while maintaining strong relationships with our clients."
