BancorpSouth Announces First Quarter 2016 Financial Results

Highlights for the first quarter of 2016 included:
Net income of $22.5 million or $0.24 per diluted share. Generated net loan growth of $71.9 million, or 2.8 percent on an annualized basis, and deposit growth of $155.5 million, or 5.5 percent on an annualized basis. Incurred a total pre-tax charge of $13.8 million to reflect a probable and estimable liability associated with ongoing regulatory matters as well as related legal and consulting expense.... More
