Union Bankshares Announces First Quarter Ended March 31, 2016 Earnings and Quarterly Dividend Payment
April 20, 2016 1:00 PM EDTMORRISVILLE, Vt., April 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Union Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: UNB) today announced total assets increased $18.3 million, or 2.9% to reach $640.8 million as of March 31, 2016 from $622.5 million as of March 31, 2015. Total loans grew to $519.8 million as of March 31, 2016 from $501.7 million as of March 31, 2015. Sales of qualifying residential mortgages to the secondary market totaled $22.9 million for the first quarter of 2016 compared to sales of $27.6 million for the same period in 2015.
