Jefferies Raises Price Target on Dollar General (DG) Following 4Q Earnings Call

Jefferies reiterated a Buy rating on Dollar General (NYSE: DG), and raised the price target to $96.00 (from $81.00), following the company's 4Q earnings call. Management pointed to better comp store sales ahead, reflecting a number of merchandising initiatives and better in-stocks.

Dollar General (DG) Tops Q4 EPS by 4c; Comps Rose 2.8%

Dollar General (NYSE: DG) reported Q4 EPS of $1.30, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $1.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.29 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.3 billion.

Comps rose 2.8 percent.
