American Airlines Group Reports Record February Traffic and Capacity
March 8, 2016 8:03 AM ESTFORT WORTH, Texas, March 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Airlines Group (NASDAQ: AAL) today reported February and year-to-date 2016 traffic results.
American Airlines Groups total revenue passenger miles (RPMs) were 15.7 billion, up 4.7 percent versus February 2015. Total capacity was 20.4 billion available seat miles (ASMs), up 8.0 percent versus February 2015. Total passenger load factor was 77.0 percent, down 2.3 percentage points versus February 2015. The Companys traffic and capacity were both records for the month of February.
