Federal Signal Finishes Strong Year with Operating Income of $103 million, up 16%
February 29, 2016 6:46 AM ESTOAK BROOK, Ill., Feb. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Signal Corporation (NYSE: FSS), a leader in environmental and safety solutions, today reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2015.Â
Consolidated net sales for the fourth quarter were $186.4 million, down 11% versus the same quarter a year ago. Fourth quarter income from continuing operations was $17.4 million, equal to $0.27 per diluted share, compared to $19.9 million, or $0.31 per share, in the prior-year quarter.
