Best Buy (BBY) Declares $0.45 Special Dividend; 1.4% Yield
February 25, 2016 7:07 AM ESTBest Buy (NYSE: BBY) declared a special dividend of $0.45 per share.
The dividend will be payable on April 7, 2016, to stockholders of record on March 17, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 15, 2016.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.4 percent.

February 25, 2016 7:04 AM ESTBest Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) today announced that its Board of Directors authorized a plan to return excess capital to shareholders as follows:
A 22% increase in the regular quarterly dividend to $0.28 per share, effective immediately;A new $1 billion share repurchase plan expected to be completed over the next two years; andA special dividend of $0.45 per share, or approximately $145 million; related to the net after-tax proceeds from certain legal settlements and asset disposals.

Best Buy (BBY) Tops Q4 EPS Views; Issues Light Q1 Outlook; Announces New Capital Return Program

Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) reported Q4 EPS of $1.53, versus the analyst estimate of $1.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $13.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $13.61 billion.
Domestic comps rose 13.7 percent, from a 9.7 percent gain in the same period last year.
