AveXis Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

CHICAGO, Feb. 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AveXis, Inc. (Nasdaq: AVXS), a clinical stage gene therapy company developing treatments for patients suffering from rare and life-threatening neurological genetic diseases, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 4,750,000 shares of common stock at an initial public offering price of $20.00 per share, before underwriting discounts. In addition, AveXis has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 712,500 shares of common stock at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. All of the shares are being offered by AveXis.... More
