Great Plains Energy Incorporated Declares Dividends
February 10, 2016 9:56 AM ESTKANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Great Plains Energy (NYSE: GXP) today announced that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend of $0.2625 per share on its common stock. The Companys annual dividend level is $1.05 per share. The common dividend will be payable March 21, 2016 to shareholders of record as of February 29, 2016. The shares will begin to trade ex-dividend on February 25, 2016. The Board of Directors also declared regular dividends on the Companys 3.80%, 4.20%, 4.35% and 4.50% series of preferred stock, payable June 1, 2016 to shareholders of record as of May 10, 2016. The shares will begin to trade ex-dividend on May 6, 2016.
