Under Armour demand continues to soar, stock leaps
January 28, 2016 12:14 PM EST(Reuters) - Under Armour Inc (NYSE: UA), the No. 2 U.S. sportswear maker, on Thursday reported a better-than-expected 31 percent jump in revenue, allaying concerns that apparel sales were slowing, sending its stock up as much as 21 percent.
The company's shares were up 19.3 percent at $81.84 in heavy trading after it also forecast full-year 2016 revenue above Wall Street estimates.

Under Armour (UA) Surges on Strong Q4 Results
January 28, 2016 8:37 AM ESTUnder Armour (NYSE: UA) is surging 13.7% in pre-open trade Thursday following stronger than expected fourth quarter results.
Under Armour reported Q4 EPS of $0.48, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.17 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.12 billion.

Facebook 'likes' push Wall Street higher

(Reuters) - Wall Street climbed on Thursday as a blockbuster quarterly report from Facebook drove tech shares higher and a bounce in oil prices propped up the beleaguered energy sector.
Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) surged 15.5 percent in its biggest one-day leap since 2013 after the digital advertising behemoth smashed expectations with a 52-percent jump in fourth-quarter revenue.
Helped also by a 4.28-percent gain in Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL), the S&P tech sector surged 1.48 percent.

January 28, 2016 7:08 AM ESTUnder Armour (NYSE: UA) reported Q4 EPS of $0.48, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.17 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.12 billion.
