(NYSE: CNX) reported net income attributable to CONSOL Energy shareholders of $30 million for the quarter, or $0.13 per diluted share. This is compared to net income attributable to CONSOL Energy shareholders of $74 million, or $0.32 per diluted share from the year-earlier quarter. Earnings before deducting net interest expense (interest expense less interest income), income taxes and depreciation, depletion and amortization (EBITDA), attributable to CONSOL Energy shareholders was $363 million for the 2015 fourth quarter, compared to $299 million in the year-earlier quarter.Â
