Cash America Announces Increase in Fourth Quarter Earnings

(NYSE: CSH), a leading provider of pawn lending and related services in the United States, announced today that net income from continuing operations for the fourth quarter of 2015 increased to $12,612,000 (49 cents per share) compared to net income from continuing operations of $7,492,000 (26 cents per share) for the fourth quarter of 2014. Cash America Announces Dividend Increase and Declares Quarterly Dividend
January 28, 2016 5:01 AM ESTFORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cash America International, Inc. (NYSE: CSH) a leading provider of pawn lending and related services in the United States, reported today that its Board of Directors, at a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting, increased the cash dividend amount to $0.08 (8 cents) per share on common stock outstanding. The newly declared dividend represents a 60% increase compared to the Companys previous quarterly dividend of $0.05 (5 cents) per share paid each quarter since the first quarter of 2015 and follows last years 43% dividend increase.
