WESTFIELD,Mass--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Westfield Financial, Inc. (the Company) (NasdaqGS: WFD), the holding company for Westfield Bank (the Bank), reported net income of $1.4 million, or $0.08 per basic and diluted share, for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, compared to $1.7 million, or $0.09 per basic and diluted share, for the quarter ended December 31, 2014. For the year ended December 31, 2015, net income was $5.7 million, or $0.33 per basic and diluted share, compared to $6.2 million, or $0.34 per basic and diluted share, for the same period in 2014.
