Piper Jaffray analyst Andrew Nowinski lowered estimates and his price target on Neutral-rated Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) to $10.00 (from $11.00) following Q4 results and lower guidance after the close.
Brocade has had a history of meeting or slightly beating estimates then guiding below consensus to keep the bar low but this quarter, the drop in operating margin is likely to have analysts worried. Brocade Communications (NASDAQ: BRCD) sees Q1 adjusted EPS of $0.23 - $0.25 and revenue of $550 - $570 million, with Street estimates calling for Q1 EPS of $0.27 and revenue of $581.9 million.
