Cato Reports 3Q EPS Up 50%
November 19, 2015 7:00 AM ESTCHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cato Corporation (NYSE: CATO) today reported net income of $8.3 million for the third quarter ended October 31, 2015, compared to net income of $5.7 million for the third quarter ended November 1, 2014, an increase of 46%. Earnings per diluted share for the third quarter were $0.30, compared to $0.20 last year, an increase of 50%. Sales for the third quarter ended October 31, 2015 were $223.3 million, a 4% increase over sales of $213.8 million for the third quarter ended November 1, 2014. Same-store sales for the quarter increased 2%.
